Hometown Food: Bayou Bay

Owned and operated by husband and wife Andy Cantillo and Cindy Whitefield Cantillo they have aimed to make Bayou Bay the “best little seafood house this side of the Mississippi River.” 

Andy is a Cajun boy from St. James Parish, Paulina, Louisiana, so items like Cajun-Style Boiled Crawfish, New Orleans Style Seafood Gumbo, Frog Legs, and Jambalaya are staples on the menu.

It’s a quaint, local place perfect for a casual gathering with some friends. Andy and Cindy put on a Mardi Gras celebration and also offering catering for special events. If you go, Bayou Bay is located at 7117 Chapman HighwayKnoxville, TN 37920, and is open for lunch and dinner everyday but Sunday.
