Screen shot 2015-07-10 at 1.31.16 PMFox Den Village is the second-oldest subdivision in Farragut, located in East Tennessee just west of Knoxville. As you travel along the winding streets you’ll find homes with mature trees (dogwoods and magnolias), rock gardens and views of surrounding hills.

For more than 100 years the area was a popular spot for fox hunters, but now you’ll more commonly see squirrels, chipmunks and rabbits. Fox Den began as a dream of Knoxville insurance executive, Chester A. Massey, during the mid-1960s, who wanted to build a golf course. You can read more about the history of the subdivision’s development here

Today a lot of community life centers around the Fox Den Country Club and its 18 hole golf course. The club offers members more than just golf. There is a pool and fitness center. They host events like the upcoming parent-child sock hop, cancer fundraising benefits, Junior league golf programs and so much more throughout the entire year.
